Volassom Calcium Injection is a cutting-edge aesthetic treatment that utilizes a micro-implant composed of calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres and a biodegradable liquid gel. When combined with injectable lidocaine, a local anesthetic, the procedure becomes virtually painless. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers, Volassom Calcium serves as a tissue inducer, enhancing the production of collagen and elastin—two essential proteins for skin health.
- Collagen: Maintains skin firmness and resilience.
- Elastin: Provides skin with elasticity.
Mechanism of Action
Volassom Calcium directly targets dermal tissues, stimulating elastin fiber activity and promoting the proliferation of fibers responsible for the synthesis of collagen and elastin. This process significantly enhances skin hydration and elasticity, effectively combating the visible signs of aging.
Longevity of Results
The effects of Volassom Calcium Injection typically last between 18 months to 2 years due to fibroblast stimulation, outlasting those of hyaluronic acid fillers. The calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres dissolve within 12 months.
