It is suitable for small area fat dissolution, the treatment cost is lower than liposuction, and the recovery period is short, but some users may experience local rebound.

Mechanism Overview

In experiments, deoxycholic acid sodium salt acts on fat cells with an accuracy of 95%. Up to 78% of users noted a reduction of about 1.8 mm in fat thickness two weeks after injection, while those with thicker layers of fat noted a reduction of up to 3.2 mm after six weeks.

After two to three injections, the average fat thickness of each user was reduced by 25%. The prices range from $150 to $300 per injection. One of the well-known aesthetic clinics in Seoul quotes the price as $170 per dose, while the average quoted price by any U.S. clinic is $250. Against the liposuction surgery, whose average price is $5,000, this treatment is much cheaper.

The standard dose is well-tolerated; over 90% of users had only mild redness, swelling, and tenderness. In a trial of 1,000 volunteers, 3% had localized swelling lasting more than 48 hours.

Kabelline can melt about 20-25% of fat cells with each use. Indications include treating individuals in the weight category of 60-75 kg and a subcutaneous fat thickness ranging from 15 to 25 mm. As a matter of fact, these people have a metabolism up to 1.2 times faster than average.
